Dr. Jeremy Davidson completed his undergraduate degree in Business at the University of San Diego in 1992. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington in 1999 where he earned the American Academy of Oral Medicine award.

Dr. Davidson then chose to serve our country and entered the United States Navy Dental Corps. Following a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in San Diego, Dr. Davidson served four years as a general dentist at Naval Station Naples, Italy.

After being selected as the fellow to the Chief of the Dental Corps, he and his family moved to Bethesda, Maryland where he worked for the Admiral for a year at the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Davidson completed his orthodontic residency where he had significant training with surgical orthodontics in San Antonio, Texas at Wilford Hall Medical Center in 2008.

Upon graduation, Dr. Davidson fulfilled his military obligation by serving as Orthodontic Department Head at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Virginia working with oral surgery residents. He treated over one hundred surgical orthodontic cases and was a craniofacial board member treating cleft lip and cleft palate cases, as well as other craniofacial anomaly patients. During his career as a Navy dentist, Dr. Davidson achieved the rank of Commander and was awarded four Navy Commendation medals. After thirteen years of service, Dr. Davidson and his family made the decision to settle down and open his orthodontic practice in Virginia Beach.

Dr. Davidson is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Tidewater Dental Association and the Tidewater Orthodontic Society where he served for two years as President of the organization. He is also a member of the Southern Association of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists.

He and his wife, Mary-Jeanne’, have three children, Cade, Amara “Cookie” and Hadley. He enjoys running, biking, golfing, helping with his son’s scout troop and participating in church and community service activities.
